Traffic pattern changes for Spring Commencement
Several temporary changes will be in effect before and after the ceremony to support safe and efficient access.

UNC-Chapel Hill will celebrate the Class of 2025 during Spring Commencement at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 10 at Kenan Stadium. To support safe and efficient access to the ceremony, new temporary traffic pattern changes will be in effect along Ridge Road and Manning Drive before and after Commencement.
5-7 p.m., May 10
Ridge Road will transition to:
- One-way southbound traffic between Country Club Road and the Rams Head Parking Deck.
- Access from Manning Drive will be restricted to Rams Head Deck permit holders only.
Manning Drive will shift to three westbound lanes and one eastbound lane between Ridge Road and US 15-501.
Country Club Road will remain accessible with on-site traffic control.
7-10 p.m., May 10
Ridge Road will transition to:
- One-way northbound traffic between the Rams Head Parking Deck and Country Club Road.
- One-way southbound traffic from the Rams Head Parking Deck to Manning Drive.
Manning Drive will shift to three eastbound lanes and one westbound lane between Ridge Road and US 15-501.
South Road will change to one-way eastbound traffic between the Bell Tower and Country Club Road.
Country Club Road will remain accessible with on-site traffic control.

Expect congestion on Raleigh Road as early as 3 p.m. Some roads may be blocked throughout the day to facilitate access and shuttle services. To avoid delays, use alternate routes or use park-and-ride lots served by Carolina Livery.
