Town of Chapel Hill to host Fourth of July celebration at Kenan Stadium

Gates open at 7 p.m. and family activities are planned throughout the evening, including performances by the Matt Strattford band and a state-of-the-art sound and light show.

The Town of Chapel Hill will host its annual fireworks celebration at UNC-Chapel Hill’s Kenan Stadium on the Fourth of July.

Gates open at 7 p.m. and family activities are planned throughout the evening, including performances by the Matt Strattford band and a state-of-the-art sound and light show.

Recommended parking is in the Cardinal, Jackson, Craig, Rams Head and Bell Tower decks and the Manning lot. Disability parking is available at the Bell Tower lot.

Parking also is available in Town of Chapel Hill parking lots downtown, including the Wallace Parking Deck at 150 East Rosemary Street and 140 West Franklin Street underground deck.
