The Tar Heels, two-time defending champions, will play for the ninth title in program history Sunday at 7 p.m. on their home turf. It will be the team's 20th championship appearance.
The sports medicine team has kept student-athletes healthy and safe throughout the pandemic, resulting in the busiest spring sports season ever at Carolina.
The Tar Heels last won an ACC title in 2017 when then claimed the tournament championship. They last shared a regular-season title in 2016.
