The grant from the SunTrust Foundation will help NCGrowth launch SmartUp programs in North Carolina and South Carolina to create jobs with equitable opportunities in rural and economically-challenged communities.
The program will provide rigorous, hands-on training for the next generation of public-spirited lawyers while also filling gaps in North Carolina’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.

During the two-and-a-half day workshop, faculty learn skills that they can apply to ideas they’re working on today or tomorrow.
