The University is still working through details of how campus housing and dining services refunds will be calculated and when payments will be made.
"This is a matter of significant public health safety. If our students are not following the orders to stay at home and practice social distancing and other safe hygiene practices, they may be transmitting the virus to the people they come in contact with unknowingly."
The UNC System Office provided to all Chancellors new faculty and staff work and leave provisions for the time period between April 1 and April 30.
